ICYMI: Enhancements and Releases in May

In case you missed it, we made numerous changes in May across the family of LDD applications.

RealtiWeb

RealtiWeb is Canada’s premier real estate conveyancing application and is available in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, and Nova Scotia. We’re actively working on enhancing the application with new features every month.

Nova Scotia

We introduced Stewart Title Insurance connectivity in Nova Scotia. If you use Stewart Title Insurance, you’ll be able to pre-populate your order with data from your conveyancing file. After submitting your order, the policy numbers and premium amounts will automatically be brought back into your file. Enabling this functionality in your account will require a brief setup by Stewart Title. For more information, contact your Business Development Manager.

We’ve also made a couple of minor updates to the navigation in your file to better reflect your workflow. You’ll notice a dedicated Title Insurance screen and the Issues is placed to the left of the Mortgages.

Ontario

RealtiWeb Ontario is now integrated with the Lender Lawyer Connect mortgage portal. This means you can now accept and import mortgage instructions and submit requests for funds and final reports directly from your RealtiWeb file.

We’ve also made a couple of minor updates to the order of the navigation in your file to better reflect your workflow but, not to worry, we haven’t changed anything within these tabs. You’ll notice that Issues is placed to the left of the Mortgages.

As a reminder, the E-reg - Enclosure Letter was renamed to Closing Letter to the Other Side on May 2, 2022. This name change has been applied to both the Purchase and Sale versions of the document.

Manitoba

We’ve added the capability to handle mobile, modular, and mini homes in your RealtiWeb files. You can now add specific information about the mobile home including its registration number, manufacturer and model details, as well as information about the park where the home is located.

We’ve also made a couple of minor updates to the order of the navigation in your file to better reflect your workflow but, not to worry, we haven’t changed anything within these tabs. You’ll notice that Mortgages is placed to the left of Title Insurance in your file.

British Columbia & Saskatchewan

We’ve made a couple of minor updates to the order of the navigation in your file to better reflect your workflow. You will now see Mortgages before Title Insurance, and in British Columbia, you’ll also notice that the Manager screen has been renamed Issues.

WebDocumentServices

Thanks to a joint initiative between the Working Group on Lawyers and Real Estate and the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA), lawyers in private practice have access to OREA Standard Forms including Agreements of Purchase and Sale and Lease forms as well as over an extensive list of more than 300 Residential and Commercial clauses. These forms are also optionally available directly through RealtiWeb.

This month, we’ve made some small wording updates and revisions to Form 103 (English version only) and to our Clause Booklet, as per changes made by OREA.
