Enhancements and Releases Across Our Apps

In case you missed it, there were a numerous changes in April across the family of LDD applications.

RealtiWeb

RealtiWeb is a real estate conveyancing application available in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Nova Scotia. It’s actively being enhanced with new features every month.

We launched a new icon for accessing many of RealtiWeb’s amazing and key features. These features (previously in Basic and Mortgages dropdown menus) were moved to be access next to the Remote Signing Portal.

The main file screen of RealtiWeb was updated everywhere for better efficiency and to make way for future enhancements.

Below are enhancements to each specific version of RealtiWeb.

British Columbia & Saskatchewan

We released a new Title Insurance screen for all of your title insurance related information. Making it easier to quickly see the title insurer, policy numbers and premiums.

With the new screen, came the connectivity with Stewart Title Insurance.

Alberta

We added the ability to handle construction draw mortgages and holdbacks in RealtiWeb files. Handle everything from adding details to the draw and holdbacks into the file.

Manitoba

The ability to request Chicago Title policies through RealtiWeb on purchase and mortgage files was released. Policies can be requested, ordered, modified and linked to your RealtiWeb file. This means, you’re able to get up to date information and all the relevant title insurance documents automatically uploaded to your file.

Ontario

The TitlePLUS Title Insurance integration was introduced in Ontario. If you’re using TitlePLUS Title Insurance, you’re able to pre-populate your order with data from your conveyancing file. After submitting, the policy numbers and premium amounts will be brought back into your file.

The Ontario Lawyer Search to add to your lawyer database was updated to be faster and easier! When searching for new lawyers, everything is done within the file (instead of opening a new window).

Reminder: The E-reg - Enclosure Letter has been renamed to Closing Letter to the Other Side as of May 2, 2022. This name change has been applied to both the Purchase and Sale versions of the document.

Nova Scotia

Effective April 1 of this year, the Nova Scotia Government introduced the Provincial Non-Resident Deed Transfer Tax. We updated RealtiWeb to accommodate this new tax. Simply activate it from the Deed Transfer Tax screen. When the tax is identified as applying, RealtiWeb calculates and applies the tax and a link to the form appears. For information on when the tax applies, refer to the Nova Scotia Government webpage.

WillPowerWeb & RealtiBuilderSales

We’ve continued improving the designs of each and every screen to bring better workflow. These improvements were applied to WillPowerWeb and RealtiBuilderSales for condo and subdivision projects.
