Experience the Power of Dark Theme
We are pleased to announce the availability of dark theme (a.k.a. dark mode) for users of RealtiWeb, Canada’s originator in web-based conveyancing application.
You’ve probably heard about or seen the dark theme online. Some people use it to save battery power when their phone’s at its brightest settings. Others because they find it’s easier on their eyes when viewing a screen in a darkened room.
And there are some users with visual impairments who find the contrast between certain visual elements easier to discern.
Not quite familiar with the dark theme option?
Far less scary than it sounds, “dark mode” is simply the reverse version of the white-based website designs we’ve seen from our devices’ default settings from the beginning.
Dark mode depicts not just blacks but greys and dark colours, kind of like the negative of an old film photograph. The main difference? Dark themes only show a negative version of the space that contains a webpage’s words. Unlike the text, any pictures remain “positive”.
So, rather than something like black type on white backgrounds, you see white type on black. Other elements, like buttons and icons, also appear in dark colours.
An innovation across all browsers
We continue to innovate Canada’s first web-based professional conveyancing software for practitioners of real estate law. This latest welcome update works with Chrome and Edge.
Want to start using it? You can! Of course, if you prefer working in light mode (most people still do), don’t do a thing. But if you’d like to try it:
How to enable RealtiWeb’s dark mode theme in 3 easy steps.
Log into RealtiWeb using Chrome. If your firm hasn’t been using Chrome or completed a transition meeting, please schedule a meeting here.
Click the Person icon (or your initials) to call up your personal settings.
Click on the Dark Theme toggle. That’s it, you’re done. Easy!
If you prefer the lighter side, just toggle back.
