Enhancements and Releases in February 2023

Last month, we released several enhancements focused on RealtiWeb. We released a new search feature for the Issues screen. The feature made it easier to find the right issues at a glance.

No worries, the built-in function for bringing in the title search results into RealtiWeb files (in all versions) continues to work as it did before this new search was released.

 

RealtiWeb BC

As per a recent LTSA notification the following Web Filing form versions will be retired on July 17, 2023.

  • Form A Transfer

  • Form B Mortgage

  • Form C Charge

  • Form C Release

  • Form 17 Fee Simple

RealtiWeb as of February 1, 2023 is using the latest versions of these forms.

There were a few updates and new documents released for our clients in British Columbia. Below are the new documents:

  • Order to (Mortgage files)

  • Order to Pay - Transfer of Title (Purchase files)

With the addition of the latter document, transferring of title in Purchase files became easier.

At the same time the following documents were updated for consistency:

  • Order to Pay (Sale files)

  • Statement of Adjustments - Purchaser (Purchase files)

  • Statement of Adjustments - Vendor (Purchase and Sale files)

 

RealtiWeb Nova Scotia

For our clients in Nova Scotia, we announced our new and enhanced RealtiWeb app, promising to be faster, secure and offers options for document retrieval/storage. This new system is fully accessible using Chrome and Microsoft Edge.

With this exciting news, the way RealtiWeb works with PropertyOnline had to change. Due to browser compatibility, it was necessary to update this function to work differently.

To bring the title search information into RealtiWeb, the information has to be copied and pasted into RealtiWeb from PropertyOnline. This change will be reflected across browsers in RealtiWeb (including Internet Explorer).

Our new and enhanced RealtiWeb app, has been slowly released over the last few months to firms in Manitoba, Nova Scotia, Ontario and Saskatchewan. Throughout March 2023, our clients in BC and Alberta are scheduled to be invited to transition over.
