Ontario: OREA Forms updated with State of Emergency clauses in LDD

In record time (again) we have an update in our systems to account for the COVID-19 situation

In response to COVID-19, the Ontario Real Estate Association added a new State of Emergency category with 4 clauses on March 27. Today we’ve added this category to RealtiWeb.

These clauses cover:

  • what happens if the transaction is unable to be completed

  • key drop devices

  • electronic signature consent

  • video conference closing documentation

Legislation referenced in the Ontario Heritage Act Designation (HERIT-1) clause was also revised. All these clauses are available in the OREA Forms area of your Documents screen in RealtiWeb and the OREA clause booklet for those who access the forms directly.
