Enhancements and Releases in October 2023
We're excited to share the most recent updates and releases for LawyerDoneDeal Corp. (LDD) in RealtiWeb and our brand-new application, ClientConnect.
ClientConnect
Making its debut for RealtiWeb Ontario clients, ClientConnect was released in October 2023. ClientConnect is your all in one tool for client onboarding, collection of information throughout the lifespan of a transaction, and all the way to final closing.
At the Ontario Legal Conference hosted by the Ontario Bar Association, ClientConnect, under the guidance of Benjamin (Ben) Hughes, the Product Manager, seized the spotlight during a dedicated breakfast session. Ben presented how this innovative solution will assist law firms of varying sizes in their communication with homebuyers, sellers, and borrowers, as well as in the crucial task of client identification verification. Throughout October into November, Ben and our Director of Sales, Cam Di Pasquale, hosted webinars for those in Ontario to learn more about ClientConnect.
RealtiWeb
In October, we released Key Dates, new databases for relocation companies, referrals and water companies, and various enhancements that impact certain versions of RealtiWeb.
The Key Dates allow you to quickly view important dates such as the Closing Date or Possession Date, Conditional Until, and other milestones for smoothly closing conveyancing files. It was an important update for us enhancing our calendar functionality overall. In the coming year, we will introduce a more robust and customizable calendar.
The new databases for relocation companies, referrals and water companies are available under Additional Parties. These are to better identify relocation and water companies, specifically those not related to a town or city, and referrals. All information is able to be used in your documents. In the field mapping find them under Relocation Company, Water Company and Referral.
British Columbia
The entering of Fractional Interest and Tenancy for Form A and B completion has been updated to be supported when sending the information to Web Filing for purchase and mortgage files.
Ontario
For RealtiWeb Ontario, we're thrilled to announce that the Prescribed Information for the Purposes of Section 5.0.1 Form (PIPS) integration has undergone a remarkable transformation. Now, the PIPS form will open directly in the file layout, streamlining your experience and making your workflow more efficient than ever before.
Multiple Versions Impacted
The Transferee and Transferor screens were updated in Alberta, Manitoba, Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan. Bringing a more user-friendly experience to the Transferee and Transferor screens. We've simplified the layout by relocating the checkboxes from the top to the side, making it easier to manage.
The Similar Names functionality was enhanced in Alberta, Ontario and Nova Scotia. The streamlining of the feature of moving it into the file layout, greatly simplified the process of using this feature.
Updated Fee Adjustments for those in Manitoba and Ontario
Manitoba Announcement
The Land Title Registry and the Personal Property Registry are set to increase by 3.8% on Sunday, January 7, 2024. RealtiWeb Manitoba has been updated accordingly to calculate based on the new fees for files with possession dates on or after January 7, 2024. Ontario Announcement
Teranet is increasing their Teranet Connect Search Service Fee to $1.17, effective November 6, 2023. For further information, read Teranet's bulletin.
As of November 6, 2023, the new Land Services Fee changes come into effect in Ontario. For full details, please refer to the bulletin published by the Government of Ontario. RealtiWeb Ontario has been updated to reflect the changes.
