National Legal Professional Survey
On June 17, 2021 the Law Society of Manitoba tweeted their post about the first national health study of the legal profession in Canada. Read their post here.
All the law societies in Canada, the Federation of Law Societies of Canada, and the Canadian Bar Association, carried out in partnership with the Université de Sherbrooke, under the leadership, of Dr. Nathalie Cadieux are collaborating in a study of the mental health of the legal profession in Canada.
The purpose is to better understand the factors that influence the well-being of legal professionals both before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. The results will help decision makers in analyzing and developing support programs or practices to improve the conditions and promote a healthy and sustainable practice of law in Canada.
For more information and to participate in the study, please see the letter from Dr. Nathalie Cadieux. The survey will take 30 to 45 minutes to complete. If you wish to participate in the study, complete it on or before June 30.
