Real Estate Technology Session at the OBA Institute

The 2020 OBA Institute featured a panel on the impact of technology on real estate transactions. The diverse group, led by Maurizio Romanin, LDD’s President and CEO, included Elgin Farewell of Teranet, William Dochterman of First American, Director of Land Titles, Jeffrey Lem, Yan A Besner of Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt, and Eli Udell of Merovitz Potechin and a member of the CCLA Technology Committee.

This lively session spurred a good amount of discussion on the current and not-so-distant status of technologies that are changing real estate transactions: artificial intelligence and distributed ledger technology (DLTs) also referred to as blockchain.
