General Updates and Enhancements

  • Land Titles Fee increases

The system has been updated so that in files with a closing date of April 1, 2011 or later, the land titles fees for Transfer, Charges and Discharges will reflect the increases by the Alberta.

  • Document Formats now Available on Document List and Merged Documents

Selections have been added to the right click option for all documents in the document list and also on merged documents for the following formats/programs.

  • MS Word
  • Open Office
  • PDF
  • Update for Mortgages Instructed Electronically to Your Inbox

For refinance or purchase transactions involving mortgages that have been instructed electronically via your Inbox, a $5 (+tax) client-disbursable fee takes effect on May 1, 2011. This will appear as a separate line item labeled ‘Mortgage Processing Fee’ on your LawyerDoneDeal Account Statement.

Updates to the Following Bank Forms and Other Documents

  • Royal Bank of Canada – Updated the Interim and Final Report (Form 04177(11-15-2010)
  • RBC – Home Line Plan Request for Funds form updated (Form 03958 (11-15-2010)
  • ING Direct – Solicitor’s Interim Report
  • MCAP – Schedule H Updated, Schedules L, M, N added
